How does it work and why you need an electrostatic precipitator.
Electrostatic Precipitation works by filtering fine particles from a flowing gas. Without disrupting the rate of flow, Electrostatic Precipitator can handle large volumes of air due to the drop of the low pressure across the electrostatic filter.
The function of electrostatic precipitator starts when particles are ionized as they travel through the ionizing electrodes. Through this stage, the particles are electrically charged.
The air in the kitchen is tricky due to the complex mixture of smoke, water vapor, temperature, and grease. A generic industrial electrostatic precipitator won’t work best in the harsh environment of commercial kitchens.
Grease and smoke particles travel through the plates – charged, collected, and trapped. Once all the grease and smoke particles are collected and removed from the air stream, kitchen fire is reduced that usually starts with the blue fume often seen as emissions where cooking produces high levels of smoke and grease.
